Timeless Talk another visit

Good morning, well here we are with the second card using the stamp set Timeless Talk.

This time I went with something a bit more grungy...is that a word??

So this card uses the penny farthing image...which I really love!

The colours are Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry with Very Vanilla. I edged all of the layers with Cajun Craze daubing, and added some interest in each layer. The vanilla layer has been embossed with the Big Shot and the folder decorative dots (133520). Then the next layer of Crushed Curry I stamped in the same colour ink with the bike image. I stamped it off onto the grid paper so it just comes out slightly fainter, but the colour still matches giving this subtle shaded effect, I love it!!

The bike itself uses a technique I haven't used in ages, the rock and roll technique!! I basically stamped it into the Crushed Curry ink pad and then lightlyrolled the edges around in the Cajun Craze ink pad and then stamped. A great effect, which I really should use more often!

The greeting has been stamped and then punched out with circle punches, the 1" (119868) and the 1 1/4" (119861).

The finishing touch was some Crushed Curry candy dots from the Regals collection pack (130932). These are a great little embellishment that can really finish off a project.

So there we are, card number 2. I hope you liked it, and please come back on Friday for the third card sample...

oh and a little prize giveaway too...

Thank you for stopping by to visit.
