Okay, saying nothing, but I am sharing...
I worked out this week that our annual catalogue has only got 14 weeks left...yes you read that right...14 weeks!!!!
So I am going to try and showcase 14 more stamp sets in those weeks.
This week Timeless Talk came out of the bag. So I am sharing 3 cards I have made with this set over the course of the next 5 days.
It's a lovely set, and it's on page 128 of the annual catalogue. It is available as a clear mount (126607)or wood mount(126665). It's a great one for those tricky mans cards (although I will have other sets that are good too)
Card 1...
So this card uses the grammaphone image.
I have used Smoky Slate and Bermuda Bay along with Whisper White.
On a couple of cards lately I have used stamps in the set to create my own background papers, and here I have done the same. The happy birthday greeting has been repeatedly stamped onto the white using the slate ink. I wasn't precise with the stamping and so some of them have overlapped, but it still works really well.
Some faux stitching with the Bermuda Bay pen gives the impression of some texture and then I cut out the speach bubble with the greeting and raised it up on dimensionals.
The background paper is the bermuda Bay from the stacks. These are a great resource as you get 40 sheets of 12" x 12" paper and each stack is in a colour collection or the two In Colours. You can find these on page 185 of the annual catalogue.
So I hope you liked this card idea and I hope you will pop back on Wednesday to see another card using the same stamp set.
Thanks
~ Jane ~
