Scrapbook inspiration...

Hi there, it's Thursday and time for a bit of scrapbooking inspiration and ideas.

I have been trying to use the project life or Memory Making style scrapbooking lately, so I thought I would share one of those today.

Now one of the first things I have found is that they are a nightmare to photograph!!!!

Because they are created in these pockets to allow for speed, they can't be removed from them to take the picture..as that is the layout. So they are always behind this plastic sleeve layer.

Anyway, this uses some papers and supplies from my own stash but it shows how the layout comes together.

This is a double page and I carried the papers across as well as the colours.

Then I added some wooden embellishments and all that remains is for me to write some details and information.

I will admit that it is different to what I class as normal scrapbooking, but we are all different and I am sure there will be those of you out there that love this quick and easy style of keep any our memories.  

I can imagine a new mum or dad would find this style very much the better option to remember their child's initial years...

Don't forget there are three scrapbooking crops a month locally in the Stroud area, once a month on the third Saturday in Stroud, then on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month in Stonehouse.
