Good morning and happy Tuesday...
We have another week and another challenge, and today is a colour combination.
So today the colours are Night of Navy, Pineapple Punch and Call me Clover. Colours from Stampin Up, but any similar in your stash would be great.
So you can see a sneak peak in the corner of that image of a card, but today I have a nice cheerful floral one. I need cheering up as I write this as I am being organised with getting posts written ahead and currently I am dodging showers...well downpours to get the photographs!!!!
This card came together really nicely, but I did have a little issue that you can just about see the result of in the middle image...
I had no Night of Navy twine...now Stampin Up have it and I thought I had some...but no...so I had to improvise...
I had some Vanilla twine which I decided to colour with my ink pad and a dauber. It worked like a charm, but I was impatient to get the card finished...it wasn't dry when I put it on the card...and yes, you can see the staining on the card front in that image :-(
So,yes you can colour twine, but you must be patient to let it dry. Alternatively you could just pop along to the shop and buy it in the colour you want!!!!
The stamps I used on this card was Pop of Petals, and Painted Harvest and Buffalo Check.
Both above sets have matching punches which made it much easier...
If you would like to pop over and see these items this is the link to my shop front with Stampin' Up!
Thank you for visiting and I really hope you play along and create something with the colours. If you do and share what you make there will be a little thank you from me in the post.
See you again soon.
