Good morning folks...
Yes today is love your pet day...apparently, although I'm not sure if this is just in the USA or us too, but hey, it seemed like a good theme.
So I have a couple of things to share with you.
This is a quick and simple card I made using the Giggle Greetings set. It is a fun little set that will appeal to some of you and not others, I quite like it, it's just funny!
I used a card blank that had already to been stamped, and just layered on the image onto Early Espresso to match the ink I stamped in.
I did an additional image and coloured and then cut it out to layer on for some added dimension. Simple colouring with Crumb Cake was all that was needed with a hint of Crisp Canteloupe for his tongue! A bit of linen thread gave some texture...done!
If you are a bit squeamish, then you may want to look away, as this is the beginnings of a scrapbook layout of my own dog recently...he had surgery and it was all very dramatic as it was the first time that the children had experienced this.
Mind you it was pretty dramatic for Bruno too, he is 14, so it was a risk anyway.
This is the larger of two wounds he had and it was a tricky couple of days, but thank fully a couple of weeks on and he is doing great, although he is really milking the love he was getting and the sympathy look!!!!!!
The layout is on Crumb Cake, and so far I have done some stitching around the edges with Pumpkin Pie bakers twine, and then stitched the heart in Cherry Cobbler. I used the piercing set to make the holes and make the job a whole lot easier!
Some Gorgeous Grunge in Crumb Cake and Pumpkin Pie, and that is as far as I have got...kinda' ran out of mojo!! **any suggestions gratefully received**
So there we are a bit of pet talk and crafting...a little something will be in the post for you if you can tell me about your pet, or email me a picture of something you have made relating to a pet theme...
Thank you for stopping by today and see you again soon, I hope.

Some journalling would be nice on the scrapbook page. Maybe in Cherry Cobbler to incorporate the colour of the heart. Jess x
