ooooh, not a card...

Well, I thought I would post a scrapbook layout I did a while ago. This was an example I demonstrated at a workshop with ladies who were predominantly scrapbookers, hence the layout!!

Now I can't remember if this was an idea I have seen in one of my many hours blog hopping, or if it is something I have kinda' adapted myself (if you know please tell me:)!!!!).

I have used a stampin' around wheel to create the frame around my daughter. The wheel is the Barogue Border, and it is with Close to Cocoa ink. I basically used a scrap of paper and placed it diagonally across the page to create a mask when inking, this enabled me to make a mitred corner. Is that what it's called, I don't know!!! Anway, I did this with each side. I wasn't too concerned about it matching exactly, well it's not possible anyway, but this wheel image lends itself well to this.

I then placed the punched out flowers using my 5-petal punch and used them to add some dimension/interest in the opposite corners. They were in Bravo Burgandy and Mellow Moss, and I used the Polka dot punches stamp set. I was quite pleased my daughters glasses matched with the colour!!!

I hope you like it, and I have some more layouts to come over the next week or two, inbetween the cards...

Thanks for stopping by :)
